Simulink External Mode in the menu bar for using the internal mode. You can click on a location where external mode is enabled (see the section on Configuring External Mode elsewhere in this page), then press Return, or type in the “System Properties” field of the entry or object section of the window. See also the Configuration Utility Window in the menu bar below. Once configured, External Mode will appear as a transparent window on the HUD. (Note: To modify External mode, select it from a selected list of External Settings in a dialog box.) The configuration option will then continue to choose a suitable external mode. The HUD can still display “Open” (on Linux systems) External Mode, but External Mode (on Windows) will open the application tab (in a window that was created by the user). On Linux systems, External Mode will not open a window with your new or the original window size. To use External Mode in Windows, open the local program window (Open on windows which are no longer available and open on windows which no longer have a local program window already). In Linux OS, External Mode will open a window created by the user. You can set up External Mode using a similar mechanism to an External Mode window. For example, if Linux starts by itself, you will probably have to create a Local Programs > Custom Shell, where export will look like this (see this section about using External Mode for this example): If you press Enter, the program will tell you where to open External Mode
